Horseshoes
Horseshoes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 7 to 8 c. flour, 1 lb. lard, 4 eggs, 1 c. milk and 2 yeast, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Knead the mixture made from the first 5 ingredients until it does not stick on hands.
Put in Ziploc bag.
Put in pan of cold water until it floats.
Open bag; wrap in towel and refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight.
Grind walnuts.
Add sugar to your sweetness.
Melt the oleo.
Roll like pie dough on granulated sugar.
Cut into 2 x 4-inch shapes.
Put nuts on; roll and shape like horseshoes.
Bake at 325Β° until lightly browned.
