Horehound Candy is an easy dinner. Made with 3 qt. boiling water, 1 qt. loosely packed horehound (leaves and stems), 4 c. granulated sugar, 1 1/2 c. dark corn syrup and 1 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Pour boiling water over horehound.
Steep for 5 minutes.
Tea should be dark and bitter, but not black.
Strain.
