Honey Cornbread
Honey Cornbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal, 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 c. vegetable oil and 2 tbsp. honey, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Combine the cornmeal, whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt and soda in a large mixing bowl.
Set side.
Combine buttermilk, oil, eggs and honey.
Add to dry ingredients, mixing well.
Pour batter into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Bake at 425Β° for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Cut cornbread into 2-inch squares to serve.
