Holiday Cut Outs
Holiday Cut Outs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. soft butter or margarine, 1 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 c. sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream the butter.
Add sugar and beat until light.
Beat in eggs.
Add vanilla and sifted dry ingredients.
Add cream; mix very well.
Chill several hours.
Roll to 1/8-inch thickness. Decorate, after cutting out, with tree, angel, bell, etc., cutters.
Bake at 350Β° for 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes about 5 dozen. Dough can be made and frozen.
