Hobo Dinners
Hobo Dinners is an moderately easy dinner. Made with ground chuck (about a pound), made into large patties, 2-3 red potatoes, cut into small quarters or slices, 2 medium onions, sliced (more if desired), 3-4 medium carrots, sliced and 1 stick butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

On a large piece of foil (heavy duty), stack patty, onion slices, carrot slices and potatoes.
Season with salt and pepper. Place about 1 to 2 tablespoons butter (in pats) on top of vegetables.
Fold the foil making a package, making sure it is closed as not to leak.
It is best to cook right on charcoal,15 minutes on one side and turn for 12 minutes on other side.
Check for doneness of meat.
This can be cooked in conventional oven at 375 degrees for about 40 minutes.
Makes about four dinners.
Great for campouts.
