Hjortetakk
Hjortetakk is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 eggs, 1 c. sugar, 1 cube butter, 3 c. flour and 1/2 tsp. kjortonsalt (scandinavian store), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Beat sugar and egg well.
Melt butter and cool.
Add sifted flour and hjortonsalt and add to mixture.
Let stand in refrigerator overnight.
Roll dough in long sticks the thickness of your finger.
Cut and make circles with the ends crossing each other.
Fry as doughnuts.
