Heat oven to 350Β°.

Grease and flour pan (two 9-inch or 13 x 9 x 2).

Beat 2 minutes.

Mix in the boiling water or hot coffee (I prefer coffee).

Batter will be thin.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes for round pans or 35 to 40 minutes for rectangular pan.

Check with toothpick.

Cool and frost.
