Herbed Dumplings
Herbed Dumplings is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. soft wheat pastry or cake flour, 2 1/4 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 c. finely chopped parsley and 3 tbsp. snipped chives, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
Add parsley, chives and butter, with pastry blender or 2 knives.
Cut in butter or margarine until mixture is the texture of small peas.
Stir as little as possible.
Drop by spoonfuls into chicken mixture; simmer 10 minutes longer.
Serve at once.
