Heloise's Fudge
Heloise'S Fudge is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in just 54 minutes. Made with c. sugar, (12 oz.) can evaporated milk, (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips, (10 oz.) pkg. miniature marshmallows and c. butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Mix sugar and milk in a large, heavy saucepan.
Slowly bring to rolling boil and boil for 8 minutes.
Then move the saucepan off the heat and add the butter, chocolate chips and marshmallows. Mix only until the chips and the marshmallows are melted.
Add the vanilla and nuts and blend.
Spread the mixture in a large ungreased pan and let it cool.
