Heath Bar Cake
Heath Bar Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 1 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. white sugar, 1/4 lb. oleo and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Mix first 5 ingredients with pastry blender or fork until flaky.
Reserve 1/2 cup for use on the top.
Into balance of mixture, add milk, and egg and soda mixed together.
Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
To 1/2 cup reserved for top, add 4 or 5 chopped Heath bars and the chopped nuts.
Sprinkle over top of batter and bake in 350Β° oven for about 30 minutes.
Serve as is or add whipped cream, Cool Whip or ice cream.
