Hazelnut Torte
Hazelnut Torte is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 eggs, separated, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 lb. shelled hazelnuts, ground, juice and grated rind of 1 medium to large lemon and 1 medium carrot, scraped and finely grated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Beat egg whites with 1/2 cup sugar until thick and glossy.
With same beater beat yolks until thick and lemon colored.
Gradually add remaining 1/2 cup sugar, beating until mixture is light and fluffy.
Combine yolk mixture with nuts, lemon juice, rind and grated carrot.
Stir into yolk mixture a few tablespoons of egg whites and blend in the rest.
