Hazel's Lasagna
Hazel'S Lasagna is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. fine chopped onion, 1 large clove garlic, minced, 1 lb. ground beef and 1 1/2 c. (12 oz.) tomato paste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Melt butter or margarine in large skillet or Dutch oven.
Add onion and garlic and cook gently about 5 minutes.
Add ground beef.
Cook slowly, stirring frequently, until all red color disappears from meat.
Stir in tomato paste, tomatoes, salt, pepper, basil and oregano.
Simmer, stirring occasionally, 30 to 35 minutes.
