Hawaiian Vegetables
Hawaiian Vegetables is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. diced carrots, 1/2 c. diced onions, 1 c. diced green pepper, 1 c. diced celery and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Combine carrots, onions, green pepper and celery.
Cook until tender, about 20 minutes.
Drain well.
In a saucepan, combine salt, water, sugar, brown sugar, cornstarch, vinegar, cinnamon and cloves with pineapple juice, drained from can of pineapple.
Cook until thick.
Add water chestnuts, drained and sliced, and pineapple chunks.
Add to sauce; then add to vegetables and heat.
