Hawaiian Pie
Hawaiian Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 baked pie shell (can use frozen one), 1/2 can crushed pineapple, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tbsp. flour (self-rising) and bananas, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cook the crushed pineapple, sugar and flour until thick. Slice bananas into cooled pie shell to line bottom.
Add to cooled pineapple mixture the grated coconut and chopped nuts.
Pour mixture over bananas in pie shell.
Let stand in refrigerator until cold.
Top with Cool Whip or whipped cream before serving.
