Defrost hash browns.
Combine hash browns, sour cream, cheese, soup and 1/2 stick butter. Spread into casserole dish. Crush enough corn flakes to cover and combine with 1/2 stick melted butter.
Sprinkle over casserole. Bake at 350Β° for 25 minutes or until corn flakes are golden brown.
