Harvest Fruit Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (6 oz.) pkg. diced, dried mixed fruit, 1 c. chopped bananas, 2/3 c. orange juice, 1 tsp. apple pie spice or ground cinnamon and 1 c. margarine or butter, softened, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine first 4 ingredients in medium bowl; set aside, stirring occasionally.
In large bowl beat together margarine and sugar until creamy.
Add flour, oats and 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice; mix until crumbly.
Save 3/4 cup mixture for topping. Press rest into 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake 15 minutes.
