Let apples and sugar stand, mixed, for 1 hour.
Add remaining ingredients to same bowl.
Mix all ingredients until well blended. Bake in tube pan (ungreased) for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325Β° or until toothpick, when inserted, comes out clean.
Serve plain or with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
