Harvest Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. raw apples, peeled and sliced, 3 c. flour, 1 c. oil, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 c. walnuts, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Grease and flour 9 x 12-inch baking dish.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Combine sugar and apples; let set 1 hour. Beat eggs, vanilla and oil until frothy.
Mix in 1/4 of dry ingredients.
Blend in apples, walnuts, raisins and remaining dry ingredients.
Place in greased and floured cake pan or 9 x 12-inch glass dish.
