Harvest Bread
Harvest Bread is an impressive dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 3/4 c. shortening, 4 eggs, 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice, thawed and 3 1/2 c. sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream shortening and sugar.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Add pumpkin (yams) and orange juice.
Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
Stir in nuts.
Bake in 2 loaf pans at 350Β° until done.
