Harvard Beets
Harvard Beets is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 tbsp. corn starch, 1/2 c. vinegar and 1 tbsp. oleo, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In a double boiler or heavy boiler mix sugar, salt and corn starch, stir in vinegar.
Add onion, oleo and the juice from the beets.
