Hard Tack
Hard Tack is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 2/3 c. light karo, 1/2 c. water and flavoring of choice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix sugar, karo and water in saucepan. Place over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils.
Cook without stirring until mixture forms a hard ball.
Add coloring and flavoring.
Pour onto a greased sheet.
After it hardens, cut with scissors or break into pieces.
Roll in powdered sugar.
