Hard Cinnamon Candy
Hard Cinnamon Candy is an easy dinner. Made with 4 c. sugar, 1 2/3 c. light corn syrup, 1 c. water, 1 tsp. cinnamon oil flavoring and powdered sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Mix sugar, corn syrup and water in a large saucepan and stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
Boil without stirring, until the temperature reaches 310Β° or until drops of mixture form brittle threads in cold water.
Remove from heat and allow to stand until all bubbles have simmered down.
Stir in flavoring and coloring.
Pour onto lightly greased cookie sheet. When cool enough to touch, break in pieces and coat with powdered sugar.
Store in airtight container.
