Hard Candy
Hard Candy is an easy dinner. Made with 3 3/4 c. sugar, 1 1/2 c. karo (clear), 1 c. water, 1 tsp. lorann flavoring oil * and 1/2 tsp. food coloring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

In a large, heavy pot, cook sugar, Karo and water over medium heat until 310Β° is reached on candy thermometer.
Remove from heat. Add flavoring and food coloring, stirring well.
Pour onto powdered sugar dusted heavy-duty aluminum foil.
Cool thoroughly and break into small pieces.
Store in airtight container.
