Hard Candy is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 2/3 c. light corn syrup, 3/4 c. water, 1 tsp. lorann flavoring and powdered sugar (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

π¨βπ³ Instructions
Mix first 3 ingredients in a large saucepan.
Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
Boil, without stirring, until temperature reaches 310Β° or until drops of syrup form hard, brittle threads in cold water.
Remove from heat.
After boiling has ceased, stir in flavoring and coloring.
Pour onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
Cool and break into pieces.
Store in airtight containers.
