Hard Candy
Hard Candy is an easy dinner. Made with 3 3/4 c. sugar, 1 1/2 c. light corn syrup, 1 c. water and 1 tsp. flavor (peppermint, orange, pineapple, coconut and grape are my favorites), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Mix sugar, syrup and water.
Stir over medium heat until dissolved.
Boil (without stirring) until the hard crack stage is reached.
Remove from heat after the boiling has stopped; add flavor.
Pour over greased cookie sheet.
Let cool.
Break into bite-sized pieces.
Cover with powdered sugar to avoid sticking.
