Hamburger Stew
Hamburger Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 medium onion, chopped, 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes, 4 medium carrots, thinly sliced and 2 celery ribs, thinly sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In Dutch oven, cook beef and onions over medium heat until meat is no longer pink.
Add tomatoes, carrots, celery, potatoes, water, rice, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until vegetables and rice are tender.
Simmer 20 to 30 minutes longer or until thickened.
