Hamburger Spinach Soup
Hamburger Spinach Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. lean ground beef, 1 tbsp. butter (optional), 2 pkg. chopped frozen spinach, 2 c. milk and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Brown beef in butter.
Add the frozen spinach; cook until thoroughly defrosted.
Do not cover.
Stir in the milk.
Add the salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Thoroughly mix the cornstarch and water.
Very slowly, add to the spinach-meat mixture.
Stir until thickened.
Serve with a dash of nutmeg over each bowl, if desired.
