Ham-Vegetable Fettucini
Ham-Vegetable Fettucini is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. cubed, smoked ham, 2 peeled, chopped carrots, 1 chopped, medium onion, 8 oz. shredded colby cheese and 8 oz. shredded monterey jack cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a large pot, boil carrots, chopped broccoli and chopped cauliflower in water; boil until tender-crisp.
In saucepan, combine ham, onion, milk and cheeses.
Simmer until cheeses are melted.
If too thick, add additional milk.
Drain vegetables and place in mixing bowl.
Use large pot to boil 3 quarts of water and cook noodles 7 to 8 minutes.
Drain.
Add to mixing bowl; cover with meat mixture and stir thoroughly.
Serve.
