Ham Grab Bags
Ham Grab Bags is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (16 oz.) can sweet potatoes, 1 (16 oz.) pkg. ham steaks (8 slices), 1 (16 oz.) can italian green beans, drained, 1/2 tsp. dijon mustard and 1 (20 oz.) can pie sliced apples, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Preheat oven to 400°. Drain sweet potatoes, reserving 1 tablespoon syrup; slice potatoes.
On 4 sheets of heavy foil, the ham slices, sweet potatoes, beans and apples. Combine cranberry sauce, reserved syrup and mustard. Spoon cranberry mixture over ham and vegetables. If desired, sprinkle apple slices and sweet potatoes with brown sugar. Wrap up foil pouches loosely.
Place on baking sheet.
Bake at 400° until heated through,
20 minutes.
Transfer to serving plates, pouring juices over all.
Makes 4 servings.
