Ham, Cheese & Broccoli Fondue
Ham, Cheese & Broccoli Fondue is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 7 slices white bread, 2 tbsp. butter, 1/2 lb. grated sharp cheddar cheese, 1 pkg. frozen broccoli, cooked and drained and 5 eggs, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Make a doughnut from each bread slice by using 2 different sized round cutters.
Butter doughnut and hole pieces and set aside.
Place the crusts and scraps of bread in the bottom of an 8 x 12-inch casserole.
Sprinkle cheese over bread.
Add a layer of broccoli, then ham.
Arrange doughnuts and holes on top.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over.
Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 325Β° and bake uncovered for about 50 minutes or until set and brown.
Remove from oven and allow to set 10 minutes before serving.
Let it set in refrigerator before freezing.
