Ham Balls
Ham Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 lb. ground ham or ham loaf mix, 3/4 can orange soda, 1 1/2 c. rice krispies, 1/2 tsp. dry mustard and 1 large can pineapple chunks, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Mix ground ham, orange soda, Rice Krispies and mustard together.
Form into 2-inch balls.
Mix 1/2 cup brown sugar with juice from pineapple.
Bake ham balls for 1/2 hour in a 350° oven. Pour off grease.
(Can be put in microwave oven for 15 minutes and then drained.)
After pouring off grease, add the pineapple and juice mixture.
Bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 325°.
