Haluski
Haluski is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large head cabbage, shredded, 2 sticks butter or margarine, 1 medium onion, chopped, 1 (8 oz.) egg noodles and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In a large pot, melt butter.
Add onions and simmer until onions are soft.
Add shredded cabbage.
Salt and pepper to taste. Simmer, covered, stirring occasionally about 45 minutes or until cabbage is very tender.
Add brown sugar.
Mix thoroughly.
Add prepared noodles.
(Depending on your taste as little or as much noodles can be added to cooked cabbage.)
