Mix the applesauce, the unflavored gelatin, the fruit flavored gelatin, sugar and lemon juice; heat to boiling and boil 1 minute, stirring frequently.

Fill loaf pan halfway to the top with cold water.

Pour out the water, then immediately pour the gelatin mixture into the wet pan, using rubber scraper to clean the side of the saucepan.

When the loaf pan is cool enough to touch, refrigerate about 3 hours or until candy is firm.

Cut the candy into 1 inch squares (dip the knife in a glass of water to keep the candy from sticking).

Lift each square from the pan onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Let stand at least 8 hours to dry. After candy has dried, place some sugar in bowl, then roll each square in the sugar until all sides are coated.
