Gumdrop Fruit Cake

Cream butter and sugar.
Add 2 cups flour, seasonings, eggs and baking soda.
Sift 2 cups flour over fruit and gumdrops.
Add to mixture.
Bake 2 hours in angel food cake pan at 325Β°.
Put pan of water in oven for moisture.
