Gumdrop Cookies
Gumdrop Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. margarine, 2 c. brown sugar, 2 eggs, 3 1/2 c. flour and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cream margarine and packed brown sugar.
Add eggs.
Sift together flour, soda and salt.
Add to egg mixture.
Finally, fold in the gumdrops and chill batter for one hour.
Drop from a teaspoon 2 inches apart on a well greased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes in oven set at 400Β°.
This recipe makes about 5 dozen cookies.
Can be frozen to serve later.
A real favorite of children.
