Gumdrop Cake
Gumdrop Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. gumdrops, cut in pieces (no black ones), 1 c. sugar, 1 c. butter or margarine, 2 eggs, well beaten and 1 1/2 c. applesauce (sweetened), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Dredge gumdrops, raisins and nut meats in 2 cups flour.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add 2 cups flour, seasonings, eggs and soda. Bake at 350Β° for 2 hours in angel food cake pan or 1 hour in two small pans.
