Gumdrop Cake
Gumdrop Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1 c. sugar, 2 eggs, beaten, 2 1/4 c. flour and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
Reserve 1/2 cup of mixture to mix with raisins and gumdrops.
Add vanilla to milk.
Add flour mixture alternately with milk to the first mixture.
Add floured gumdrops, raisins and nuts.
Bake in large, greased loaf pan at 300Β° for 1 1/2 hours. Keeps well.
