Griffin Rolls
Griffin Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 tbsp. crisco, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1 pkg. yeast and 2 c. warm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Cream the Crisco and sugar. Add egg; mix thoroughly.
Add yeast and water mixture; stir together.
Mix in flour and salt.
Knead dough until elastic.
Put in greased bowl; turn to grease surface.
Let rise until double. Punch down; shape into 2 loaves or 24 rolls.
For rolls, form large, walnut size balls.
Put on lightly greased cookie sheets; let rise.
Bake at 375Β° for about 20 minutes, until lightly browned.
Makes large (about 3-inch diameter), soft dinner rolls. Serve warm.
