Green Rice
Green Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. rice, 3/4 c. chopped onion, 3/4 c. chopped bell pepper, 1 tbsp. dried parsley and 4 chicken bouillon cubes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Use no salt.
Saute onion and green pepper in margarine until transparent.
Add water and bouillon cubes.
Bring to a boil to dissolve cubes.
Add rice, parsley and pepper.
Bake in a deep 2-quart casserole, covered, for 3/4 to 1 hour or until water is absorbed and rice is tender.
Oven should be at 350Β°.
Remove from oven, flake rice with fork, replace cover and let steam for 10 minutes before serving.
