Green Bean Supreme
Green Bean Supreme is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, 1 medium onion, diced, 1/4 c. margarine, 2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup and 3/4 c. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Saute mushrooms and onions in margarine. Add soup, cheese, soy sauce, pepper sauce, salt and pepper. Cook in double boiler, stirring constantly.
Add beans and water chestnuts; mix thoroughly.
Place in casserole dish and sprinkle with almonds. Bake 20 minutes at 325Β°.
