Green Bean Casserole
Green Bean Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 cans cut green beans, drained, 1 can cream of celery soup or cream of chicken soup, 1 small can chopped mushrooms, drained, 1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained and 1 stick butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Sauté onions in butter/margarine.
Add green beans, mushrooms, water chestnuts and cream of celery soup.
Heat until all is mixed.
Pour into a casserole dish.
Cover with foil and put into oven at 350° for 45 minutes.
Remove foil and put shredded cheese on top and cook, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted on top.
Serves 8 to 10.
