Granola Bars
Granola Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. regular oats, uncooked, 2/3 c. butter or margarine, melted, 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1/3 c. honey and 1 egg, slightly beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Place oats in ungreased 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan. Bake at
15 minutes, stirring at 5 minute intervals; set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients; add oats, and mix well. Spread mixture evenly lightly greased jellyroll pan. Bake
25 minutes.
Cool completely and cut into bars.
Yields about 5 dozen bars.
