Granola Bars

Made with 3 1/2 c. quaker oatmeal (quick or old fashioned, uncooked), 1 c. raisins, 1 c. chopped walnuts, 2/3 c. butter or margarine, melted and 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Toast oats in ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking pan at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
Combine toasted oats with remaining ingredients. Mix well.
Press firmly into well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes or until slightly brown around edges. Cool.
Cut into bars.
