Granny's Fudge
Granny'S Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 (5 1/2 oz.) can carnation evaporated milk, 1 tsp. pure vanilla, 2 sq. baker's chocolate and pinch of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Combine sugar, chocolate and milk in a heavy bottomed saucepan.
Cook over medium-high heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
Cook to soft ball stage.
Remove from heat; put in butter and vanilla.
Beat with spoon to remove shine from mixture. Pour into buttered platter and cool.
Cut into squares.
