Graham Cracker Toffee
Graham Cracker Toffee is an moderately easy dinner. Made with graham crackers, 2 sticks margarine, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. chopped pecans and 1 tsp. butter flavoring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Line a large cookie sheet with aluminum foil, dull side up. Spray with Pam.
Break crackers into small sections at the perforations.
Lay crackers close together (within 1/8 to 1/4-inch).
In a medium saucepan, bring the margarine, sugar and flavoring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly for 2 minutes. Pour mixture over crackers.
Sprinkle with pecans.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in 350Β° oven.
Remove immediately and sprinkle with chocolate chips, if desired.
Cool on wire rack.
Break into sections; store in refrigerator.
