Graham Cracker Cake
Graham Cracker Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1 c. sugar, 3 beaten egg yolks, 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract and 1/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg yolks and vanilla.
Beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with graham cracker crumbs and milk.
Add nut meats. Fold in egg whites. Bake in two waxed paper lined 8-inch layer cake pans in moderate oven at 350Β° for 25 minutes.
Put together with Cream Filling and frost with Brown Sugar Frosting.
