Grace's Chicken Casserole
Grace'S Chicken Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 whole chicken, cut up and skinned, 1 pkg. pepperidge farm herb stuffing/bread crumbs, 1 medium onion, chopped, 1 can cream of mushroom soup and 1 can cream of chicken soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Boil chicken until meat comes off bone.
Let cool; then remove bone and skin.
Remove meat and cut up.
Grease casserole dish (or use Pam cooking spray).
Mix soups (uncooked) with chicken broth. Layer casserole dish in order: meat, both soup/broth, onion, stuffing crumbs (lightly enough to cover), melted butter, poured over stuffing.
Cover with foil.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 40 minutes.
Remove foil last 5 minutes of baking, so top may brown. Serves 6 people.
