Gourmet Pasta
Gourmet Pasta is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce, 1 pkg. fine (6 or 8 oz.) egg noodles, 1 c. sour cream and 2 c. grated cheddar or american cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Brown meat in oil.
Add salt, pepper, tomatoes, tomato sauce and garlic.
Simmer about 5 minutes.
Remove garlic pulp.
Cook noodles according to directions and drain.
While noodles are still warm, add cheese and sour cream; mix well.
In casserole, alternate layers of noodles mixture, beef mixture and grated cheese.
Repeat layers until all used.
Bake 35 minutes at 350Β°.
Serves 6 to 8.
