Gooey Squares
Gooey Squares is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix, 1/2 c. butter, melted, 2 eggs, 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Combine cake mix, butter and 2 eggs in large bowl and mix well.
Pat batter into the bottom of a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Sprinkle 1 cup chocolate chips on top.
In mixing bowl, blend cream cheese and powdered sugar.
Add 2 beaten eggs and mix well.
Spread mixture on top of bottom layer. Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup of chocolate chips.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 to 45 minutes.
Top will be golden.
Yields 4 dozen squares.
