Goody Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box yellow cake mix, 1 egg, 1 stick melted margarine, 8 oz. softened cream cheese and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix cake mix, egg and margarine together and press in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Mix cream cheese, vanilla, 2 eggs and powdered sugar together.
Stir in chocolate chips and spread this mixture on top of mixture in pan.
Bake at 350Β° until you can stick a toothpick in center and it comes out nearly clean.
Do not overbake.
